I keep coming back because Alpine Gables has it all. From friendly staff who helped with my suitcases at first stay, to free Wi-Fi and parking, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. The laundry and express check-in/out are convenient. Perfect for the weekend!

Nice apartment in a neat building with NICE views over lake. Pretty friendly staff and family atmosphere. Incredible setting right next to shopping complex & tourism centre. Nice surrounding, next to restaurants and shops at Nuggets crossing, Thredbo, and the lake, and the snowy mountains.

The Snowy Mountains region is the perfect place for an action-packed getaway with a great variety of things to see and do. I felt instantly comfortable in my home-away-from-home at Alpine Gables, where the staff were happy to help me plan my activities and enjoy my stay.
Who needs a microwave and a fridge that never gets cold when you can have a proper kitchenette? The lack of cooking implements and lighting in the room really added to the ambience.

We had a blast exploring the stunning Snowy Mountains. We went on a trout fishing tour with Steve Williamsons and caught some massive fish! Then we hit up Coolamatong Golf Club and Smiggin Holes Ski Resort for some adrenaline-pumping water skiing and quad biking. It was non-stop fun and adventure!
The only thing we would've loved to have at Alpine Gables was a banging party scene. It would've been even more lit if there were some cool events or parties happening for young partygoers like us.

It has fashionable and huge rooms & ideal location just next door to restaurants, shops and rental outlets, the shops, the Nugget shopping complex...
I loved the apartment even though some things didn't work.

Bed was comfy, location was good, staff very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient, right in the middle of town, and the staff were friendly and willing to assist.
We were quite cold even though we had the heating on all the time we were in the unit. Quite a strong unpleasant smell when we entered the unit.

Our family had a blast exploring the stunning Snowy Mountains of NSW with Steve Williamsons Trout and Fishing Adventures. The hands-on trout fishing tour on Lake Jindabyne and the surrounding rivers and streams was an unforgettable experience. Both beginners and experienced anglers were catered to, making it a perfect activity for the whole family. , we enjoyed the exciting water-skiing, quad-biking, hiking, and scenic mountain drives offered at Coolamatong Golf Club and Smiggin Holes Ski Resort. It was a jam-packed adventure-filled holiday for everyone to enjoy.
My children wanted more child-friendly activities during our stay.

The location of Alpine Gables was perfect for our trip to the snowy mountains. It was so convenient to be close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. The staff were also incredibly helpful and informative, making our stay even better. The spacious room and good facilities were a bonus, and we appreciated the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
We did notice a few minor issues during our stay. The shower temperature in our room was a bit unpredictable, going from very hot to cold at times.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was charming, with warm colors and comfortable furniture that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciate when hotels cater to my needs, and Alpine Gables did just that. The general areas were easily accessible and well-maintained, making it convenient for me to navigate around the hotel without any difficulties.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there. While they were friendly, there were times when I needed a bit more help or information and had to wait or seek assistance elsewhere.
